The Town-Crier Collective

Ticket Terms & Conditions

Concerts at the TTC Venue · Sold via TTC's Website

DRAFT — subject to legal review before any ticket is sold.

1. Before You Buy — Three Things to Know

This concert will be filmed. You may appear in it.

We record our concerts and publish them on our platform. The audience is part of the room, and you may be seen or heard in the recording. If you would rather not be filmed, please do not buy a ticket — we cannot guarantee to keep any individual out of shot.

Refunds

If we cancel, you get your money back in full. If we move the date, you choose — keep your ticket or take a refund. If you simply change your mind, you cannot return a ticket — but you can give it to someone else, free.

Transfers

Your ticket is freely transferable. Pass it on to a friend, no fee, no permission needed.

Age

16 and over on your own. Under 16, you need an adult with you.

These summaries are for convenience. The terms below are what apply.

2. Who You Are Buying From

Tickets are sold by The Town-Crier Collective GmbH. Contact: comms@thetowncriercollective.com. We sell tickets only through our own website. We are the seller and the event organiser. A contract is formed between you and us when we confirm your order by email. These terms apply to every ticket we sell. By buying a ticket you accept them, and you accept them on behalf of anyone you bring with you or pass a ticket to.

3. Filming and Recording

3.1 We record our concerts

We film and record our concerts in audio and video. We own those recordings and we publish and exploit them, including on our platform, on streaming and video-on-demand services, and in promotional material. We may do this for an indefinite period.

3.2 You may appear

Our venue is small and the audience is part of the event. You may be captured in the recording. By attending, you agree that we may include your image and voice in the recording and in anything we make from it, without payment to you. We cannot promise to keep any particular person out of shot. If you do not want to appear in a recording, the only reliable course is not to attend.

3.3 What we will not do

We will not use your image to endorse a product or service, and we will not single you out in a way that would embarrass or misrepresent you. If you appear prominently and ask us to remove you, we will do what is reasonably practicable.

3.4 If you are bringing someone under 16

The accompanying adult is responsible for the child and consents on the child's behalf to the filming described in this Article. Please read it before you bring a child to a recorded concert.

4. Buying a Ticket

4.1 Price

Ticket prices are shown on our website and include VAT. Any booking or payment fee is shown before you pay. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.

4.2 Your order

Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation. If we cannot fulfil your order we will tell you and refund you in full.

4.3 Limits

We may limit the number of tickets per person or per household. We may cancel orders that appear to breach a limit or that appear to be for commercial resale, and refund them.

4.4 Your ticket

We issue tickets electronically to the email address you give us. A ticket is valid once and admits one person. We may refuse admission on a ticket that has already been scanned.

5. Passing Your Ticket On

5.1 Transfers are free and allowed

Your ticket is freely transferable. If you cannot attend, you may give or sell your ticket to someone else. You do not need our permission, there is no fee, and you do not need to tell us.

5.2 What you must tell them

If you pass your ticket on, you must tell the person receiving it that these terms apply — and in particular that the concert is filmed and they may appear in the recording.

5.3 Resale above face value

You may not resell a ticket for more than the price you paid, including any fee. We may cancel, without refund, any ticket we reasonably believe has been resold above face value.

6. Refunds, Cancellation and Postponement

6.1 No right to withdraw

Under German law, the 14-day right to withdraw from a distance purchase does not apply to tickets for a live event on a specific date. This means you cannot return a ticket simply because you have changed your mind. You can, however, pass your ticket on to someone else, free — see Article 5.

6.2 If we cancel

If we cancel a concert, we refund the full ticket price, including any booking fee, to your original payment method. That is the extent of our liability — we do not reimburse travel, accommodation, or other costs.

6.3 If we postpone — your choice

If we move a concert to a new date, you may keep your ticket (valid for the new date automatically) or request a full refund within 14 days of our announcement. If we do not hear from you, we will assume you are keeping your ticket.

6.4 Force majeure

If a concert cannot go ahead for reasons beyond our reasonable control we will reschedule where we can. Where we cannot reschedule, we refund the ticket price. We are not liable for your other costs.

6.5 If the line-up changes

Support acts, set times, and running order may change without notice and this does not entitle you to a refund. If the headline artist does not perform at all, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the concert date.

7. At the Concert

7.1 Age

You must be 16 or over to attend on your own. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. We may ask for proof of age.

7.2 Admission

We may refuse admission, or ask you to leave without refund, if you are abusive, intoxicated to the point of being a risk to yourself or others, in possession of prohibited items, or behaving in a way that endangers others.

7.3 Searches

We may carry out a proportionate bag check on entry. You may decline, in which case we may decline admission and will refund your ticket.

7.4 Your own filming

Take photos and short clips for yourself — that is welcome. Please do not film the performance in full, and do not record for commercial use or public broadcast without our written permission.

7.5 Noise and accessibility

Live music is loud. If you have access requirements, please contact us before the concert at comms@thetowncriercollective.com.

7.6 Your belongings

We are not liable for loss or damage to personal property except where caused by our negligence.

8. Our Liability to You

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. Subject to that, our liability arising from a concert or a ticket is limited to the price you paid for the ticket. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Your Personal Data

We are the controller of the personal data you give us when you buy a ticket. Contact: comms@thetowncriercollective.com.

10. General

10.1 These terms are governed by German law. If you are a consumer, you keep the benefit of the mandatory protections of the country you live in.

10.2 We may change these terms. The version that applies to your ticket is the version published when you bought it.

10.3 If any part of these terms is invalid, the rest continues to apply.
